Like a lot of people, I first heard of Nelly when her single was being played on the radio here in the UK. I really liked the song and Nelly gave amazing performances live on TV. I saw her being interviewed on Top of the Pops Plus, she talked about her album Whoa Nelly - her influences and inspirations etc and I knew immediately that I wanted to hear more. I bought the album and was not disappointed - all the songs are fantastic and different in style. I haven't stopped playing it since and now have two copies - one for home and one for the car! Soon after I bought her next CD single which features a totally cool Timbaland remix '…It's getting dark in here…' and also contains a CD rom video that I love . I started to look out for all thing's Nelly and bought every magazine that I could find her featured in (some imported from Canada, Portugal and the US) and am now on my fifth Nelly scrapbook . I also bought the soundtracks from and which Nelly features on. The Tomb Raider remix with Nelly and Missy Elliot is amazing and proves without any doubt that Nelly is the best thing since sliced bread! Nelly's music is fantastic but it is also her personality, creativity, intelligence, energy and sense of fun that makes me a big Nelly fan. In November 2001 I was lucky enough to get tickets to see Nelly at The Forum, London as they sold out very quickly. She was fantastic and everyone there had a great time and were partying like mad. For Christmas 2001 Alan bought me a new mobile phone that has a Nelly logo and 'I'm Like a Bird' ringtone….it is just soooooooo cool. In 2002 we went to see Nelly twice ... at the Birmingham Academy and the Manchester Apollo, she was fantastic and this time I was lucky enough to meet her and she signed my Whoa Nelly CD . I was really nervous before listening to Nelly's second album , I couldn't imagine anything that I would like as much as Whoa Nelly but, as ever, Nelly's always full of surprises ... I absolutely loved it and now her third album has been released I couldn't be happier .. I now have at least 43 tracks of Nellyness

Just a little bit about me, Alan and I live in Oxfordshire , England , with our two cats Oscar and Molly, where I run my own cross stitch design company. I love reading ... anything really ... , and the books. Musically, Nelly is my favourite but I also like , ,, , and plus lots of other stuff .
